HYPERLITE MOUNTAIN GEAR Repack
With this freezer bag cook system you will elevate your dining experience out on the trail. The REpack Freezer Bag Cook System offers you an opportunity to simplify and lighten your load. Repackaging dehydrated food into freezer bags is a great way to decrease pack weight, the amount of space food packets take up, and the amount of waste they produce. It’s also a chance to modify meals or make your meals yourself.
Simply move the contents of your prepared dehydrated meals to re-sealable zip-top freezer bags. Place the repackaged food bag in the pouch. Add hot water to the meal and take care of other business around camp. Your food stays hot longer while it rehydrates when you keep it in your REpack. For best dining results, we recommend a long-handle titanium spoon.
Please note: You do not need water to be at a rolling boil to properly rehydrate food. It just needs to be hot.
